Tuna A La King
Tuna a la King.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (6-1/2 or 7 ounces each) tuna
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup butter or other fat, melted
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup chopped pimiento
- Corn bread, biscuits, or toast
Instructions
- Drain tuna.
- Break into large pieces.
- Cook green pepper in butter until tender.
- Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
- Add milk gradually and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
- Add pimiento and tuna; heat.
- Serve on corn bread, biscuits, or toast.
