Oysters Rockefeller
Oysters Rockefeller.
Ingredients
- 36 shell oysters
- 2 cups spinach, cooked
- 4 tablespoons onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 6 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Shuck and drain oysters; place on deep half of shells.
- Put spinach, onion, bay leaves and parsley through food grinder.
- Add seasonings to spinach and cook in butter for 5 minutes.
- Add bread crumbs and mix well.
- Spread mixture over oysters and bake in hot over 400° F for about 10 minutes.
- Garnish with lemon slices.
