Oyster Salad
Oyster salad.
Ingredients
- 1 pint oysters
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup lettuce, chopped
- 2 hard boiled eggs, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 pimento, chopped
- 1 teaspoon onion, grated
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Lettuce
Instructions
- Drain oysters.
- Add celery salt and cook in butter until edges begin to curl.
- Chill and dice oysters.
- Combine all ingredients and serve on lettuce cups.
- Garnish with paprika.
