Scalloped Oysters
Scalloped oysters.
Ingredients
- 1 pint oysters
- 2 cups cracker crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Drain oysters.
- Combine cracker crumbs, salt, pepper and butter; sprinkle 1/3 in a buttered casserole, cover with a layer of oysters.
- Repeat layer.
- Add Worcestershire sauce to milk and pour over contents of dish.
- Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.
- Bake in moderate oven at 350° F for 30 minutes or until brown.
