Värmland is a Swedish sausage made with ground pork and beef that is mixed with potatoes, onions, salt and pepper. Värmland is a region in Sweden. Potato sausage is also known as Potatiskorv.

Ingredients per 1000g (1 kg) of meat

Ginger | 0.3 g | 1/8 tsp |

Instructions
- Grind meats, boiled potatoes and onion through 3/8” (10 mm) plate.
- Mix ground meat, potatoes, water and spices well together.
- Stuff into 36 mm hog casings.
- Place in hot water and cook at 80° C (176° F) for 35 minutes.
- Store in refrigerator.
Notes
Most Swedish potato sausage recipes include allspice and the proportion of beef and pork vary from 75/50 - 50/50 - 50/75 pork to beef.
